I Knot, You Hang

Welcome
to My Site

Welcome to Meg's Creative Knots. I am so glad you are here!

Your world of knots and colours awaits you. You will find four types of art I create. You will see macrame, fiber, macraweave and dip dyed wall art. Make sure to check out my collections for your fur babies.

If you do not see something that suits your décor, I also do commission work.

I am open to any ideas you may have; we can sit down and create a piece of your dreams.

For Baby

I'm excited to announce, For Baby is finally here.  If you can imagen it, I can make it.  Larger pieces will have to be a custom order. Small pieces such as pacifier holders, teething rings, and toy hammocks will be available.

Macramé is a type of textile created using knotting techniques, as opposed to weaving or knitting. The knots are square and form full-hitch and double half-hitches.

Macraweave combines the crafts of macrame knotting with weaving to create eye-catching projects that really pop with texture and colour.

Fiber art is the creation of works of art using a combination of matter made out of natural or synthetic material. Fibers can consist of cotton, linen, yarn, felt, hemp, string, ribbon, wool, silk, acrylic, rayon, and so many more.

Hand dip dying is a technique using a liquid dye. There are many types of dyes you can use, such as factory made or plant-based dyes.  You can dye the entire piece or just the areas you want.

Shipping

NOTE: When shipping a piece that is made on a dowel or stick it will be neatly rolled up around the stick or branch. This is the best way to package and protect. After unrolling the ends may be a little entangled. Just gently run your fingers through to clean them up and you can fix it slowly until it comes to the shape in the photo.
